Our Cleaners
Our reputation is built on the quality of our cleaners. To work for our agency we require 2 references, ID and proof of home address. We will always have work for cleaners with a strong sense of responsibility, who are settled in Edinburgh and who can demonstrate reliability, trustworthiness and highest cleaning standards. Our recruitment process typically takes around 2 weeks, which gives us the opportunity to get to know each candidate prior to offering work through our agency.
RELIABLE
All Home Maid cleaners have previous related experience and are accustomed to working in clients' homes.
We believe reliability is just as important as high cleaning standards. Our cleaners demonstrate reliability during our recruitment process.
TRUSTED
Trust is paramount. All cleaners provide us with two references, proof of address and ID. Clients are invited to view their cleaner's references and have the final say on any cleaner they take on.
INSURED
All Home Maid cleaners are insured through our public liability insurance.
EXPERIENCED
Are you an experienced House Cleaner looking for work?
REGULAR WORK
We will provide you with your own regular clients. You can choose how many hours you want to work - we have cleaners working between 6 and 35 hours per week.
INSURANCE
You will be covered through our Public Liability insurance against accidental damage while working in clients' homes.
PAY
We offer a fair rate of pay and always aim to be above industry average. As a Self Employed worker you will be responsible for your own income tax and National Insurance.
LOCAL WORK
We provide work locally and at locations that suit you. We never try to force cleaners to accept jobs they do not want.
HOURS TO SUIT
We will provide you with work at days and times that fit your availability. Monday - Friday is the most popular however occasionally we also have weekend and evening work.
CLEANING EXPERIENCE
Cleaning experience / experience of working in clients' homes is essential.
HIGHEST CLEANING STANDARDS
Our clients expect the highest standards of cleaning and personal standards. Attention to detail and thoroughness are key.
TRUSTWORTHINESS
Honesty and trustworthiness are of the highest importance. We require references as well as ID and proof of address.
RELIABILITY
It is very important to attend your clients' homes at the agreed day & time each week. An unreliable cleaner becomes a stress for the client.
ENGLISH
You must have a good standard of English and be able to discuss and understand your clients' requirements.
SELF MOTIVATION
You will need a strong sense of responsibility, self motivation, and be able to manage your own time.
